*This stomper from 1968 was a cover of The Isley brothers' floor filler, this was
The Human Beinz' sole hit but if you release a track of this quality
who cares if you can follow it up.

**A piece taken off an incredible album by Third Eye Foundation from 2000
called 'Little Lost Soul', a haunting work which blends the poingnant and
ethereal with something quite heavy and menacing at times. The tracks are
beautifully layered and the evocative nature of the album pays off every time
you listen, this album is so beautifully realised that i find it extraordinary that
the music press at the time weren't falling over themselves to herald
Matt Elliott (TEF) as a genius. I have posted the track i played on the show
and the album closer 'Goddamit you've got to be kind'.

***I was a little shocked by how much this track affected me when i stumbled across
it recently, i haven't even a passing interest in the work of Neil Diamond but
there's something about this performance that grabs my attention- he sounds
so at ease as a live performer, with barely any accompaniment the power and
charisma of his voice guides the listener through his tale of forbidden love.
Bravo Neil Diamond.

****Written for her by her husband Larry Banks in 1964, 'Go Now' should have been a
a massive hit for Bessie Banks but alas it wasn't and instead The Moody Blues
released a cover version later that same year and had a UK #1 and top 10 US hit.
